Bee Careful!

Hello buzzzzzy bees! It’s Thursday again! We picked up where we left off, talking about bees.

Bee-ing a bee is hard work, but how does a bee bee-come a bee?

Bees start as an egg, become a larva, turn into a pupa and bee-come a bee!

However, bee-ing next to bees isn’t always safe. You have to be careful. We had an expert beekeeper show us what is needed to stay safe.

Beekeepers need special suits to keep themselves away from danger! Scary!

The students enjoyed “poking” the suit to see if the beekeeper would get hurt.

After we all had a chance to hold a beehive!

When everyone thought it was all said and done, we finished with a fun craft!

A crafty device to see the stages of our bee!

Lastly, we enjoyed playing with our new toy!

It was a very buzzzzzy day but it was full of fun!

See you next week and enjoy the weekend!
