This morning something special caught us by surprise. We did a surprise earthquake drill, like a real earthquake! 🚨

All of the students reacted amazingly fast, getting under the table and protecting their heads.

After, the teachers helped us putting on helmets and the whole school gathered for a evacuation practice. Everyone did an amazing job! We walked nicely and slowly organized in line to the evacuation area.

In such an emergency, it’s important to remember these three rules: Don’t talk! Don’t run! Don’t go back to school!

For our pre-ACCESS activity, we continued talking about emergency situations. We unpacked our emergency supply bag together and discussed why we need those things specifically in an emergency.🆘

We learned a lot of important things today and feel a prepared, in case a real earthquake!
