Hello Thursday readers and welcome back! We are now in spring! What better way to start off the season than a nice flower craft!

This week we started a 2 week project that we will finish and present next Thursday. We have a small preview of what we’re making. If you stay tuned until next Thursday, you’ll be able to see it!

We started off with a flower template. Students took this template and traced their own.

After the tracing step, students had the chance to show their scissor skills. They cut different colored flowers and really enjoyed this process.

One of our final steps was folding our newly cut flowers into a tulip!

We won’t show the final masterpiece today but next Thursday we reveal how special this artwork is! Here is another small hint of what is coming.
