Sun and Sand art project

For today’s Pre access lesson, we made a cool summer themed craft! We made artwork using real sand, shells, cardboard, paper plates, glue, markers, and unique color papers. We also prepared a few other decorations to use for the artwork beforehand.

First, the students got paper plates, and attached blue circular papers onto them.

Next, we glued the sand to the blue papers to create a beach. We had some blue crystals so we used them to create our ocean effect. To make the trees, we used small cardboard cutouts shaped like palm trees. Additionally, we added green color paper to make the leaves.

We included shells, the sun (made from yellow paper),and the sentence “Sun and Sand” to create a cool summer aesthetic. By the end of the pre access lesson, all the kids had made some incredible artwork.

Thank you for reading.
