Today in Social Studies class, we continued learning about different types of board games. Last time, we learned about Candy Land. This week, we learned about a game that is thousands of years old — Tic-tac-toe.
Variations of Tic-tac-toe have been played since Ancient Egyptian times, and it was a popular game in the Roman Empire.
We made our own colorful Tic-tac-toe boards then got down to the serious business of playing.
The students were determined to take on their teachers and beat them at a game of Tic-tac-toe!
The competition was tough!
But it was all in good fun.
See you next time, Tic-tac-toers!
