Art – Using Different Textures

Welcome back to PAP!  I hope you all had a great summer break and enjoyed Obon week!

We celebrated returning back to school by beginning a brand new art project and looking at using different textures to create a unique piece of work! We used a range a materials, such as felt, pom-poms, foam, tissue paper, and stencils.

Pupils learnt how to use stencils correctly after managing to trace and cut the shapes out themselves. We also learnt how to moderate our use of glue and materials. Pupils discussed about how the different materials looked, felt, and even changed as they interacted with the other materials.

Everyone showed create creative flair and enthusiasm when making our artwork! I can’t wait to see them completed! Keep up the great work everyone!
