Happy New Years! Welcome back! Hope you all had a fantastic holiday and are ready to start the new year with us again!

Our first Thursday post of the year was a creative masterpiece by our students. Our art theme this month is focused on finger painting.

Before we started our art, we went over this year’s animal, the….dragon! Also, because it’s the new year, we wanted something to do with wishing. We chose a dragon blowing bubbles!

After students got their template, they created their palette of paint. They enjoyed the beautiful look and were excited when the water was added for a more “bubbly” effect!

“The colors are becoming a rainbow!”

Our K3 boys were so excited to use their fingers and get dirty with the paint. They pointed and touched and pressed everywhere on the paper.

Some designs were very organized and some were very creative! It was a fun process to watch and we’re glad the students enjoyed it just as much.

They finished the artwork with the coloring of the dragon and here are some of their masterpieces!
