Controlling Time with our Imagination

Our session began with a discussion on the concepts of past, present, and future, laying the groundwork for our imaginative exploration. The preaccess students eagerly shared their thoughts on what these time periods meant to them.

With the stage set, we introduced the main activity: creating our own time machine controllers. Each preaccess student received a piece of cardboard and colorful paper to serve as their canvas. Additionally, an array of craft materials including buttons, toilet paper rolls, small squares of cardboard, and pipe cleaners awaited their creative touch.

 

As the students delved into the task, their imaginations soared. They carefully selected materials, envisioned the design of their controllers, and brought their ideas to life. Some envisioned sleek, futuristic designs, while others drew inspiration from classic time-travel motifs.

Throughout the activity, the students engaged in lively discussions, sharing their ideas and inspirations with each other. It was heartwarming to witness their collaboration and creativity in action.

As the session drew to a close, the preaccess students proudly displayed their time machine controllers, each one a unique reflection of their imagination and ingenuity. It was a joyous celebration of creativity and exploration.
