Hello Thursday readers and welcome back to another episode of PAP. Our students had a fun art project today. The weather has been getting warmer so what better way than to do some “warm” colors for art!

Warm colors make you think of the sun and heat so today we chose red, orange and yellow.

Our first step was arranging our canvas into “hotdog style”. Students learned what hotdog and hamburger style means. Hotdog is horizontal and hamburger is vertical.

”Look it’s a hotdog. I am going to eat it!”

After students enjoyed mixing a touch of water with the paint, they started their artwork.

The first step was drawing the sun. Then, students added the warm rays from the sun and created their masterpieces.

These paintings turned out amazing and the students were happy to see the result.
