Love is in the Air!

February is here and Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. To celebrate this special day which only happens once a year, K3 have created an art piece to express our love for someone.

We used coloured pencils, card, pipe cleaners, scissors, and glue to make our own artwork. Using so many different materials shows how much time, love, and effort we have put into making something for the ones we love! Some pupils made this for their friends, some for their parents, and even some for their teachers; lucky us!

It’s very common to give chocolates and flowers on Valentine’s Day, so we decided to make our own colourful flowers. We used the sparkly pipe cleaners and selected our favourite colours to make it unique and personalised. Next, we glued them onto our paper and bent them into a flower shape. After this, we used our coloured pencils to add the flower head and leaves. Finally, we cut out colourful heart shapes, glued them on, and wrote a secret message to our loved ones.

We can’t wait to pass on our love and show our art to someone special this Valentine’s Day!
