What….is that?

Hello readers! This Thursday we’ll bring you something special, really special. Something that maybe you’ll only be able to get 2-4 times a year.

Before we get into that, let’s recap what we’ve learned this month in Pre-Access. The last few weeks we have talked about animals in Hokkaido! Students learned what to do around bears and lots about deer. Today, we focused on a few more animals such as cranes and foxes.

However, there was something more intriguing to the students. This animal is very long and squirmy. Could you guess it?

Just wait a little longer. Students were also introduced to a new tool they would use to observe our animal. Check out our cool magnifying glass!

”My face is so big!”

The big reveal was when students then used our tool to observe a…..snake skin!

“It’s almost as long as her!”

After going around the classroom, students described how the snake skin looked, felt and if they would also want to shed their skin like a snake.

Students were very interested and a little curious about the skin at the same time. There will be more next week, but stay tuned!

Have a good weekend and see you next time!
