Making our own stamps

This month in our afternoon Social Studies class, we have been learning about collections.

We learned about common collections such as stamps or coins, and stranger collections such as the stickers from bananas. We talked about the collections we have at home, and even learned about the Guinness Book of World Records.

After discussing the theme, we got down to the business of designing our own stamps. The students weren’t given any explicit instructions. It was up to them to use their imagination and design the stamp any way they liked.

The students got to work designing their masterpieces.

There was a lot of detail put into each work.

Look at this amazing unicorn!

Scary Nezuko!
