On Friday, we went on an exciting excursion to an Elephant Zoo! It was one of the best field trips we have been on this year.

When we arrived at the zoo, the staff gave us a bucket full of bananas and carrots. Little did we know that we were about to have an amazing experience.

As soon as we entered the zoo, we were greeted by a deer and its capybara friends!

It’s not every day you get a chance to be this close to real zoo animals.

Then we got a chance to feed the giraffes. What beautiful animals!

Next, it was time for the elephants.

Everyone was excited for their show. Look, here they come!

The elephants were great artists!

And they could play soccer, too!

After the show, we got the chance to feed them!

Then Mike got a special opportunity. One he’ll never forget!

What a great trip! We can’t wait to go again.
