Can Shapes Be Creative?

Hello my Thursday readers and welcome back!

Last week, our students here in K3 made beautiful Fall art pieces using shapes because of the monthly theme. This week, students also used…..shapes!

Our materials for the day included different sizes and colors of construction paper, card stock paper, glue and our imagination.

Students went to our little flea market full of shapes and picked what they wanted to use for their art.

They were guided and given a quick example, but soon the students’ imagination ran free and they came up with impressive pieces of art!

”It’s like 3D!”

“I’m making this bigger because of the perspective.”

“This is how the train looks like from the front.”

The students really enjoyed the process and the finished product. Have a good weekend and we will see you next time!
